Evolve IP and Tango Networks have partnered to launch Anywhere Mobile, a new solution empowering enterprise mobile users.
Anywhere Mobile is pitched as integrating desk phone capabilities into a personal mobile device, propelling Evolve IP’s “work from anywhere” initiative.
In collaboration with technology partner Tango Networks, the service offers Evolve IP EMEA partners the versatility to use their devices more freely, promoting a BYOD (bring your own device) culture across various sectors. Evolve IP says this innovation aims to enhance efficiency and convenience by transforming any employee’s personal mobile phone into a comprehensive business extension.
“This represents a major step forward and offers a host of benefits to organisations and their staff,” said Scott Rixon, Evolve IP Solutions Director.
For example, it allows employees to use the mobile phones they like and are familiar with. It’s about working smarter and more effectively in an increasingly mobile-driven world. As it’s a full extension, the presence of a user is visible, and the calls can be recorded and fully reported with reports and on dashboards. This should be thought of as just another way to take a call, supporting all our platform features.”
Evolve IP stresses that Anywhere Mobile harnesses the power of groundbreaking eSIM technology designed to merge business comms tools into a single personal device, creating an ideal “best of both worlds” scenario for users.
“We are thrilled to partner with and support Evolve IP with their launch of Anywhere Mobile,” added Lee Essex, SVP Global Sales and Marketing at Tango Networks. “As leaders in fixed mobile convergence, we want to work with fellow leaders in UCaaS. Evolve IP continue to show themselves as innovators in both technology and their approach to delivering customer-focused outcomes. This collaboration underscores our joint commitment to delivering seamless communication solutions on a global scale.”
More Specifics On Anywhere Mobile
Rixon explained that the new addition gives a business direct control over a second line on an employee’s phone whilst personal communications remain private and secure. All business communications use the existing UC platform and business number.
Rixon explained that Anywhere Mobile gives businesses direct control over a secondary line on an employee’s phone, ensuring that personal communications remain private and secure. All business interactions are conducted through the existing UC platform and utilise the business number. Rixon highlighted that the service is user-friendly, requires no special applications, phone clients, or training, and is compatible with eSIM and physical SIMs.
Additionally, Rixon notes that Anywhere Mobile can help businesses reduce admin costs by removing the need to reimburse personal phone expenses.
“They can prevent employees from making business calls with personal numbers and retain business contacts when employees leave,” Rixon said. “Routing calls correctly means having proper call treatment, fewer missed calls and ultimately higher customer satisfaction.”
